Public information you choose to share

NeoRips does not ask for your real name, date of birth, home address, telephone number or payment details. Avoid placing personal or sensitive information in usernames, collection descriptions, reports or feedback messages.
Why the information is used
- To create, verify and secure your account.
- To save your collection progress, preferences, avatars and public collections.
- To send essential verification, password-reset and account-security emails.
- To answer feedback, investigate bugs and review card-data corrections.
- To prevent abuse, diagnose errors, maintain backups and protect the service.
- To produce non-identifying totals such as registered-user and collected-card counts.
Account and collection processing is necessary to provide the service you request. Security, support, administration and service improvement are carried out for NeoRips’ legitimate interests in operating a safe and reliable collector tool. Information may also be used where necessary to meet a legal obligation.
NeoRips does not sell personal information and does not use it for behavioural advertising.
Cookies and local storage
NeoRips uses strictly necessary authentication cookies to keep users signed in and protect account actions. The chosen light, dark or system theme may also be stored locally in your browser so the correct appearance can be applied promptly.
NeoRips does not currently use advertising or optional analytics cookies. This notice and any consent controls will be updated before optional tracking technologies are introduced.
Who receives the information?
Information is processed only where needed to operate NeoRips, including by:
- NAMECHEAP, which stores and serves the application and database.
- NAMECHEAP, which delivers verification, password-reset and other essential account messages.
- Administrators who need access to resolve support, correction, security or recovery issues.
- Other internet users when you deliberately enable a public collection link.
NeoRips does not provide account conversations or private collection data to advertisers.
How long information is kept
- Account, holdings, collection, preference and avatar data are normally kept while the account remains active.
- Public collection information remains available until sharing is disabled, the collection is deleted or the account is deleted.
- Support, feedback, correction and audit records are retained while needed to resolve issues, maintain catalogue integrity, prevent abuse or demonstrate administrative changes.
- Authentication sessions and one-time verification or reset records expire according to their security settings.
- Automatic recovery points rotate through up to 14 daily, 8 weekly and 12 monthly backups. Manual and safety backups are reviewed and removed when no longer needed.
Information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required for these purposes, subject to backup rotation and any legal or security need to retain a limited record.
Account deletion and recovery backups
You can delete your account from Account Settings. This removes the live account and linked user data through NeoRips’ deletion process. Recently deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted or access-controlled recovery backups until those backups rotate out.
Backups are used only for service recovery. Selective restores are restricted to existing accounts, require administrator access, create an additional safety backup and are recorded in an audit history.
Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask NeoRips to:
- Provide a copy of your personal information.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete information or restrict how it is used.
- Provide certain information in a portable format.
- Consider an objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
NeoRips may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Avatar unlock calculations are automated, but they do not make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.
Please contact NeoRips first if you have a concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office through its complaints service.
Security and changes to this notice

This notice will be updated when NeoRips changes what information it collects, introduces new providers or materially changes how the service operates.
